Recipes From the Ingredients You Have →
Not sure what to make for dinner, but have some general food items laying around?  Visit supercook.com for ideas on what you can make with the ingredients you have on hand.  For example, I told the progam that I had chicken breasts, bacon, bbq sauce, and swiss cheese on hand…it told me I could make this delicious looking recipie from allrecipes.com.  The next time you don’t know what...

Tilt-shift is in my opinion, one of the coolest effects you can apply to photos/movies. matthewb: Tilt-shift footage taken from a helicopter along Auckland’s waterfront by erstwhile music video director Samuel Peacocke. I’m still amazed at how this effect makes everything look like such a toy town.

Black Socks →
You can now sign up for a sockscription to ensure a steady supply of new socks for your sock drawer. The sockscription apparently guarantees delivery of socks to your door several times a year. Apparently, Europe has had this option for over 10 years, but it is just now coming to the US. For those worrying about the rest of the drawer, they also do underwear as well.

TiltShift Generator →
TiltShift Generator is a web service or Adobe Air app that allows you to quickly make some pretty cool image tweaks on the fly. I especially like how it allows you to apply the TiltShift effect to images without needing a costly camera lens or having to know how to use the complicated filters of Photoshop.
